Firstly buyers should be aware that some editions of the GA300 does not have a tripod mounting thread at the bottom near the battery compartment. I Have seen many YouTube reviews of this product where there is a mounting thread build in. Not sure the reason some have them and others dont. You can however get round this issue very easily by either keeping your camera on the dust prove/water prove plastic casing or the camera housing that also comes free amongst the amazing number of free accessories that come as part of this camera bundle. EDIT UPDATE: Having now used the camera for the last 5 weeks non -stop I and report back and say the batteries last as long as a Go Pros which is apx over two hours of filming. This camera is excellent for the price and I would recommend it to others Having been a Go Pro user before I was presently surprised with the number of accessories that came with this product including a microphone, all of which you would have to buy separately with other makes of action cameras. This along makes this product at only £99 .00 form amazon worth taking a punt at! Another thing to bear in mind is that, my version also did not come with English menu but again was not an issue as I managed to change it to 'English' from the menu. I put that in just incase people thing they need to send it back! My camera did however came with two accessories missing but they were minor (Anti-lock insurance strap and Reinforced Strap) and to be honest I have no idea what they are for anyway. It also had another clip holder which was not listed in the official quick start booklet but to be honest I could not see how you would use it anyway as it did not seem to fit anywhere or have anywhere where you could mount your camera- rather strange! The camera comes with two batteries, which is very useful, but no battery charger (you use the USB cable to charge the batteries via the camera ) You can if you wish, buy a battery charger from Amazon. I have not used it long enough to fully test the quality of the videos but judging by all the YouTube videos and for the price, the footage and the sound quality with and without the external mic looks and sounds good.

Likes. Very economical version of the Go pro good pictures in stable conditions, filming surprisingly good quality. Goof set of accessory items. Dislikes. Their appears to be no way (or at least I have not found it) of changing from film mode to picture mode without taking it out of the box and changing it manually, not good if you are in the water.

Firstly, this is a great camera, 4k at 60fps. EIS on lower resolutions, MOV format files, the professional format. Be aware files are larger than compressed MP4. Digital Zoom capability, a box of brackets, handy remote control, iSmart app to link to your mobile. I've yet to field test, but from exploring thus far, I'm very happy. It has buttons and touch screen. The only negative is the lack of the threaded base for fixing to a tripod, you have to use the secondary case to clip the camera into. The charging by USB C is an improvement, the connection is also used by the supplied external lapel mic. A separate mico HDMI allows connection directly to compatibility TV monitor. I'm blown away with the price:performance ratio. My trusty old Xi 4k can take a back seat while I enjoy my new Wolfang GA300. Highly recommended.

For the money, this is a decent action camera for some use cases. I could imagine if you were doing something that didn't involve heavy vibrations (i.e. walking, using a selfie stick or swimming) this is a great little camera with a mostly decent image quality. However I purchased this for recording footage in my car, and this is absolutely not the right use case for the GA300. The audio quality is appauling, with peaking, crackles and pops all throughout the audio track. Even when the car is stopped and idling the audio is absolutely unuseable, and god forbid you ever go over a bump. I ended up returning this camera and buying a second hand GoPro, which for my use case is a much better buy.

My daughter wanted a camera for filming in the water on holiday. She previously had one from the range or somewhere for about £20. Was really no good but didn't want to spend £hundreds. This one is definitely not as good as a go pro but for the price the video is great and picture quality is more than acceptable

Used for cycling around 50mins twice a day. Having used it 4 days the 🔋 seems to only last one way, 50 mins. Needs to be charged for the return journey, this is a little frustrating tbh. Video quality is good easy to use, good size, lots of clip options/accessories shame the plastic protective case does not clip on to the bike. Overall fair value for money.

Camera recieved on time and will packaged, there is plenty of mounting accessories with the camera, instructions were easy to use, camera is excellent quality and provides fantastic quality images / video resolution, it even comes with 2 batteries; however, the package does not include a charger dock for the batteries and so you have to charge the batteries while in the camera. Other than that, it's a great camera and ideal for motorcycle usage. I had to buy a 1" ball mounting adaptor separately from Ultimate Addons which is compatible with the mounting points on the Wolfang camera case amounting attachments.

I was looking for something to take decent videos while kayaking. I also wanted something to record my practice sessions at the golfing range. For what I was looking for, this is a great product. This camera seems to be well built and is easy to use without much fiddling with controls. And although I don’t need it for anything extreme or sophisticated, it appears that it could do the trick for others that might want to use it in more active situations. The camera arrived nicely packaged, with many accessories, including a remote control, various mounting adapters, a bicycle mount, extra battery, external microphone and a waterproof case. I’ve only used the waterproof case and tripod adapter/mount, but with all the other adapter/mounts in the kit, I’m now tempted to use the action camera in other situations. I let the camera run continuously during a kayaking session, at 4k 30 fps with image stabilisation on, and I got around 100 minutes of recording time. So with 2 batteries I expect I should get over 3 hours of continuous recording time, which is more than enough for what I do. If I ever go out for a longer kayaking session, I would just use the remote control to toggle the camera on and off as needed instead of running continuously. Or I might consider getting extra batteries. The viewing screen on the camera is also a touch screen, which is quite convenient for accessing the menus. After reading the manual and playing around with the touch screen, I found it very intuitive and easy to navigate between all the menu options. I needed to buy an SD card for the camera. Uploading videos to my laptop was easy…all I had to do is connect the camera via the usb port using the included cable. I also downloaded the iSmart DV2 app on my phone which allowed me to remotely control the camera with my phone. With the app you can see what you are recording via your phone and also change the camera settings via your phone. You can then download any videos or photos directly to your phone using the app. It’s a pretty slick interface, with the only downside being that you are disconnected from your normal wifi network while using the app. The video capture quality on playback is good to my eye and meets my needs. I can’t comment what it might be under more strenuous conditions (e.g. mountain biking over rough terrain). Unfortunately, I can’t really comment on the sound quality either, since I haven’t really used it for sound. While I’m kayaking, the sound is pretty muffled because the camera is in a waterproof case, and I’m more interested in video capture at the driving range (I use the slow motion setting to analyze my swing). The only minor negative I have at this point is that the kit did not come with an external battery charger. You charge the batteries using the phone itself, so you can’t use the camera while charging a battery, which could be inconvenient. Having an external charger would allow you to use the camera and charge a battery at the same time. So bottom line is that I’m pretty happy with this camera and it works for me.

I now have two cameras from Wolfang (GA100 and GA300). Especially the GA300 with the touchscreen is really easy to use. I use them for recording my cycling rides. The time lapse works well for longer rides so the video is not hours long. The image is very good - As good as, if not better than my old camera from a different company. My daughter races go-karts and she uses it as well. We've not had any issues as they work flawlessly. The battery lasts just a few minutes over 2 hours which is good enough for most of my rides. It comes with a charger and two batteries so a quick swap allows for 4 hours of recording. This works well for my needs. I have found my new go-to camera.
